COVID-19 Information

– Class sizes will be capped to ensure physical distancing is respected.

– Please wash your hands before coming to your class as well as after class.

– There is hand sanitizer at the entrance of the studio for you to use before class and in the studio to use during class. Instructors will also use the hand sanitizer stations.

– Please do not come to class if you or any immediate family members experience any symptoms of a cold, flu, sore throat, sneezing, coughing or any other flu or COVID-19 like symptoms.

– Instructors and Assistants will not instruct classes if they or any of their immediate family members experience any symptoms of a cold, flu, sore throat, sneezing, coughing or any other flu or COVID-19 like symptoms.

– Anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must self-isolate at home, this extends to our Instructors and Assistants.

-Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or has been in contact with anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 must self-isolate form 14-days and monitor symptoms. This extends to our Instructors and Assistants.

– There will be clearly marked out spots for you to stand in the studio space and at the barre, to respect physical distancing, 2 meters apart. However, we understand that respecting physical distancing may be difficult to maintain due to the nature of dance instruction, but we ask that everyone does their best.

– Please try and come right on time for your class and leave immediately after to reduce the number of people congregating in the studio, change room, lounge and hallway.

– Drop off and pick up should occur outside of each studio where the age of the child makes this reasonably practicable. Assistants will be available to help with younger dancers, or one parent or caregiver per dancer to drop off inside the studio and then leave immediately after drop off.

– Increased cleaning and disinfecting of the equipment, barres, door handles, and other high touch surfaces before and after class will take place.

– Adequate time between cleaning and equipment use will be respected.

– Our janitorial services will continue to thoroughly clean and disinfect the studios each morning.

– Handwashing practices will be followed by all Instructors and Assistants before and after each class.

– Dancers, Instructors, and Assistants should cough or sneeze into their elbow sleeve or a tissue, throw away used tissues and immediately perform hand hygiene, and will not touch their eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

– A mask may be worn at the discretion of anyone entering into the studios, Instructing, or participating in any class.

– Please respect all signage at each studio regarding occupancy limits, reducing the spread of COVID-19, hygiene, and others.

– One person in the office at a time to respect physical distancing. Please wait for a staff member to call you in when it is safe. Please wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer before and after entering into the office.
