Tap is a rhythmic style of dance. Students use their feet to create and enhance music. This style teaches musicality, coordination, and rhythm. Our Tap classes utilize the professional ADAPT syllabus.

  • Pre-Junior: Age 7-9. This class introduces rhythm and musicality within a fun and creative environment.
  • Junior 1 & 2: Age 8-10.┬áThis class is designed for tappers with previous Tap experience. More complex rhythms and skills are introduced and mastered.
  • Junior 3: Age 11-13. At this level, proper technique is a priority. More complex skills, choreography, and rhythms are taught and students work on developing style.
  • Intermediate 1 & 2: Age 10-13.┬áStudents must have previous tap experience at this level. More complex skills, choreography, and rhythms are taught and students work on developing style, and performance.
  • Tap/Jazz Combo: Age 12 and up. A fun and non-competitive class for older beginner to intermediate level dancers who want to learn the art of Tap AND Jazz techniques!
  • Advanced: Age 13 and up. For serious Tap students with previous tap experience. These classes are fast-paced and challenging. Technique and style are emphasized and challenging choreography is taught.
